It is with profound sadness that the management, staff and students of Coláiste Íde agus Iosef, have learned of the death of one of our sixth year students. Our sincerest sympathies are extended to their family and friends at this time. The school has activated its Critical Incident Management Plan with support from NEPS psychologists and the LCETB. If you or your child have any concerns please feel free to contact us at the school.

A dedicated ISPCC telephone support line will be available to all children and young people within the local community. This line will be available on a 24-hour basis for the next four weeks. It is an active listening line which is non-directive in nature. The purpose of the line is to offer support to the school community giving children and young people the opportunity to talk about their feelings, worries or concerns at this time. It is a confidential line which does not use caller ID or trace calls.

The freephone number is 1800 400 100. The support line for parents/adults is 01 2342000.
